Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding Recipe

Today’s recipe is for chocolate lovers so if you’ve been looking for a healthier way to indulge then I’m going to show you how to do so without the guilt. Inside of today’s video I’m showing you how to make a really quick and easy chocolate chia seed pudding using only 6 ingredients. The really cool thing about this recipe is that you could literally have it for breakfast or enjoy it in between meals as a snack. Plus did I mention that its loaded with lots of good stuff. If you have never used chia seeds before they are high in vitamins and minerals, high in protein, high in antioxidants, high in fiber and packed with protein and really easy to enjoy and to get the chocolate flavor we are using cacao and if you are unfamiliar with cacao it is a superfood that is loaded with a variety of phytonutrients.

CHOCOLATE CHIA SEED PUDDING RECIPE

1/2 cup of Nutiva Organic Chia Seed, Black, 32 Ounce

3 cups almond milk Almond Breeze – Unsweetened Original – 32 oz

7-8 medjool dates

1/2 cup cacao Cacao Powder Raw Organic, 1lb

Pinch of sea salt

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Kitchen Equipment Used

Blender - Vitamix 5200 Blender

Large Bowl
Spoon and/or Stainless Steel Whisk

Blend everything inside of the blender except for the chia seeds. Add chia seeds to a bowl and add blended mixture to a bowl and stir to remove any clumps an to make sure that pudding is smooth. Let pudding sit for 30 minutes and stir again to remove any clumping. Cover and let pudding set in the fridge for 6-8 hours. Best to do overnight. Enjoy!!!
